New York: The Cricket Association for the Blind in the United States of America (CABUSA) and Samarthanam USA welcome eClinicalWorks as a partner in advancing cricket for the blind across the nation. eClinicalWorks joins as the proud team sponsor of the first-ever USA Women’s Cricket Team for the Blind, which will represent the country at the inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup – Cricket for the Blind, 2025. The 16-member USA squad is already in India, training intensively at a coaching camp as they gear up for the exciting challenge ahead.

The inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup – Cricket for the Blind, 2025 will take place across New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Colombo from November 11–23, 2025, featuring six nations — Australia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the USA.

Speaking on this partnership, chairman of Samarthanam International Dr. Mahantesh G.  Kivadasannavar said, “This is a proud and emotional moment for CABUSA and every individual who believed in these incredible women. Their journey is a testament to courage, teamwork, and the power of inclusion. The jersey they wear tells a story of resilience and hope — a story that belongs to every visually impaired athlete who dares to dream. We are deeply grateful to eClinicalWorks for standing beside us and sharing our vision of empowerment through sport.”

What began as a dream has grown into a national movement. Over the past year, the outreach campaign has engaged with more than 1,000 visually impaired individuals across the United States. Guided and driven by the strategic vision of Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar, Founder Samarthanam and Chairman of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India, as well as the volunteers of Samarthanam  USA, this initiative is reshaping perceptions of disability and sports, inspiring inclusion and empowerment through cricket.

"At eClinicalWorks, we are extremely proud to support the first-ever USA Women’s Cricket Team for the Blind. We believe this is a huge step towards breaking down barriers and redefining possibilities,"  said Mahesh Navani, COO at eClinicalWorks. "This partnership is particularly special to us, as the spirit of sportsmanship guides our operations, encouraging teamwork, resilience and inclusivity. We  are thrilled to be part of this journey and look forward to celebrating the triumphs and growth of these inspiring women."

The captain of the USA Women’s Cricket Team for the Blind, Abey Finklea, said, “As the Captain of the U.S. Women’s Cricket Team for the Blind, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our sponsors for their unwavering support and their commitment to advancing our team and organization. Although our team was established only five months ago and many of our players are new to the sport, our progress has been exceptional. In preparation for the upcoming World Cup, we recently played our first official match as a team—and I am proud to share that we secured victory in our debut practice game. Competing against the Delhi team, which has been training together for a significantly longer period, our players demonstrated remarkable dedication, skill, and teamwork that led to our success. On behalf of the entire team, thank you for believing in our vision and for playing an integral role in our journey. “

“I extend my heartfelt wishes to all the teams participating in the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup. This global platform stands as a powerful symbol of determination and inclusivity, and I am  immensely proud of the athletes representing the United States with dedication and spirit,” said Ajith Bhaskar. President, CABUSA.
