Dhurandhar's sequel is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.
The makers have unveiled the first teaser of the sequel to 'Dhurandhar' - 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', with Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza Ali Mazari. Promising a far more brutal and chaotic chapter ahead, the teaser drops hints that Hamza could be taking over Rahman Dakait’s legacy as the new Sher-e-Baloch and undisputed king of Lyari.
Part 2 will also explore the backstory of Ranveer Singh's character Hamza Ali Mazari, who was Jaskirat Singh Rangi, before he turned a spy and infiltrated Pakistan and unleashed chaos in the center of the Lyari underworld.
Packed with chilling fight sequences, the teaser culminates with the thunderous dialogue – “Yeh naya Hindustan hai. Yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi aur maarega bhi” (This is the new India – it will enter your home and also annihilate you). The line, reiterated from the end of the first film, lands with unmistakable menace and is certain to send shivers down the spine.
A day before the trailer's release, Ranveer Singh introduced fans to the upcoming sequel of his hit action-thriller, sharing the first poster and confirming the title as 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'.
The newly shared poster captured Singh in a black trench coat with his hair loose in front of a vivid red background. Singh’s appearance signals a more intense and fierce storyline.
The film’s unprecedented success has not only redefined the spy-action genre but has also positioned Director Aditya Dhar as one of contemporary Indian cinema’s most formidable filmmakers. The film will release on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, marking a calculated pan-India expansion driven by massive demand across South India.
The first part, released in theatres on December 5, went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, earning over Rs 1,300 crore worldwide.
