Washington, DC: American entrepreneur and Indian American politician Vivek Ramaswamy issued a stern warning to the Republican Party following Democrats’ sweeping victories in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City.

In a video message on a social media platform, Ramaswamy described the results in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City as a wake-up call, urging the party to refocus on economic issues and abandon identity politics. He stressed putting focus on affordability and bringing down the costs of electricity, groceries, healthcare, and housing.

He emphasized that Republicans should cut out identity politics, not focusing on the color of the skin or religion, but on the content of one's character. American entrepreneur, who previously ran for president, is now running for governor of Ohio in the Republican primary scheduled for 5th of May, next year.

His comments come after Democrats made significant gains with Indian-American Zohran Mamdani winning the New York City mayoral race, Mikie Sherrill becoming New Jersey’s next governor, and Abigail Spanberger securing victory in Virginia.
