She highlighted the linkages between the Indian diaspora and Hindi and emphasized the need for integrating technology to make learning of the language easier.
Ambassador Yojna Patel, Deputy Permanent Representative, mentioned that Hindi is synonymous with the vibrant cultural landscape of India. She underlined that it is the third most-widely spoken language and took note of webcast of United Nations News in Hindi, an initiative by India, in partnership with the UN Department of Global Communications.
