New York: Actor Vijay Vishwa’s VV Entertainments has been organizing award ceremonies since last year with the goal of discovering and encouraging talented and accomplished individuals in various fields. After successfully hosting events in Madurai, Chennai, and Virudhunagar, the company held its first International Award Ceremony in Sri Lanka, marking a new milestone.
Following that success, VV Entertainments launched a new initiative titled “Utsav Mela – 2025”, at a grand cultural festival held in Dallas, USA, where competitions were organized for participants of all age groups — from children to adults.
A Cooking Contest (No Boil – No Oil) was conducted under two categories — Children (ages 8–15) and Adults (16 and above).
In addition, a Talent Show featured competitions in singing, dancing, instrumental music, and academic skills. The judging panel included Actor Vijay Vishwa from India, and Ms. Veda and Ms. Sridevi from the USA.

A Fashion Show was also conducted successfully, judged by Actor Vijay Vishwa, Mrs. Sridevi, Ms. Veda, and Mrs. Janani, who added great value to the event with their presence.
During the visit, the team met and received greetings from Mr. Napoleon, a renowned Indian actor and politician, in Washington, D.C.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to various artists who have made remarkable contributions to the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries.
Additionally, Mr. Paul Pandi honored Mr. Caldwell Nambi with the “Tamizhan Rathna Award” in recognition of his dedicated service to the Tamil language.
To celebrate women achievers, the Global Women Icon Awards were presented, while the International Business Icon Awards recognized successful entrepreneurs. The Future Icon Awards honored emerging talents striving toward their goals, and the JFC Social Service Awards recognized individuals serving society.

The evening concluded with a spectacular cultural performance titled “India’s Vibe,” presented by VV Entertainments. The show featured 30 Dhol artists, 20 Chenda Melam performers, and over 30 Thaalam Paraiyattam (traditional drumming) artists, creating a unique and vibrant musical experience. The event attracted a large audience and was followed by a lively DJ performance by DJ Chuck, which received an overwhelming response.
Mr. Bobby Balachandran, producer of the films Dimandhi Colony 2 and Rettathal, and Chairman of BTG Universal, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Vimal participated as the Special Guest of the evening.
The event’s arrangements were excellently managed by Sakthi Navarathithan (Chairman of SSS Entertainments), Mrs. Valarmathi, and Mr. Krishna, in collaboration with VV Entertainments.
Following this event, Actor Vijay Vishwa was invited as the Chief Guest at a Tamil Sangam event held in Chicago.
