The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has released a draft of Where We Live NYC 2025, the City’s next fair housing plan, following the publication of new proposed commitments and interactive tools last month. The plan aims to combat housing discrimination, preserve affordability, prevent displacement, and reinvest in neighborhoods that have long faced disinvestment. The final version of Where We Live 2025 will be published on October 1.
To that end, HPD is inviting New Yorkers to review the draft plan and share their feedback by September 16:
By email: Feedback can be submitted to [email protected].
Online: Starting next week, feedback can also be shared through the website: https://wherewelive.cityofnewyork.us/.
In person: On September 10, New Yorkers will be able to weigh in at a public event. More details are available here.
