The Rajasthani Organization of American Residents (ROAR) celebrated its 9th Annual TEEJ Mahotsav with vibrant colors and energy on July 27, 2025, at Royal Albert's Palace.
The program started with a Hindu Matrimonial meetup and networking hours, followed by TEEJ Mata procession. Women and men performed multiple dances during the procession. ROAR members also performed a special Kacchi Ghodi dance.
Diya Lightning was done by distinguished guests ROAR President Tarang Soni, Founding Chairman Parmeshwar Soni, Advisory Board Members Chandra Sukhwal, Haridas Kotahwala, and Naveen Shah, among others.
ROAR Members performed a special dance dedicated to the women who lost their loved ones during Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor.
A special letter of recognition received from the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji, in the midst of his Male, Maldives visit. He appreciated all the efforts of ROAR for spreading and keeping the Indian and Rajasthani Culture in the USA and abroad.
Special guest, 3 Idiots fame Omi Vaidya had the guests in splits with his stand-up comedy.
Rajasthani delicacies, including Daal Baati Churma, Sangri ki Sabzi, Gatte ki Sabzi, Daal Kachori, Mirchi’s Vada, Motichur Ladoo, and Special Ghevar from Jaipur, flew in.
The 3rd International Rajasthani Pageant was conducted. Jeeval Paliwal won the Teen Rajasthan title while Mati Rajvanshi was the runner-up. In the Mrs Rajasthan category, Payal Sharma won the title, while Bhavna Nigam and Milie Rajput won the 1st and 2nd runners-up titles. Bhavna also won the Teej Queen title, while Milie Rajput won the Padmavati Award. Brenda Bjerke and Kamaljit Sharma were the judges for the pageant.
Youth wing YOR (Youth of Rajasthan) was launched with Atharva Soni, Aveeka Agarwal, Jeeval Paliwal, Mati Rajvanshi, Kaashish Vyas as the founding members of YOR.
Special Message from the Member of Parliament, Chittorgarh, and head of Parliamentary Board, BJP State President Shri CP Joshi, sent his wishes for the 9th Annual Teej Mahotsav 2025 to the members of ROAR via a video message.
