Rotary Club of Hicksville South (RCHS) organized "Rotary Connect", a business networking event on April 24, 2025. The host organization was BCB Bank, located in Hicksville, Long Island, NY.
Under the leadership of Club President, Aleya Jung, the event was a successful one. The theme for the event was for members to share ideas and get connected. Among the sponsoring and participating businesses were BCB Bank (Roopam Maini), Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions (Mizan Rahman), Team Raj Jaggi VORO Real Estate (Raj Jaggi), Sunrise Tours and Travels (Mohinder Miglani), and Dr. Siras Ramos (Acupuncturist).
Club Secretary Roger Singh opened the event with a warm welcome while Club President Aleya Jung thanked the businesses and professionals who helped support the event. The keynote speaker was the President and CEO of Unique Comp Inc., Kalpana Patel. She highlighted the risk management part for the business owners.
Roopam Manini (Branch Manager of BCB Bank) was the moderator. She briefly described her bank's dedicated service and announced some special promotional offers for the business owners/community members and prospective new clients.
Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions was represented by Rick Meier and he discussed how Blue Ocean has grown to be recognized as a “Top 50 Best Employers on Long Island” organization. He mentioned that financial advisors like Mizan Rahman and Rachna Patel help clients with income protection needs, retirement solutions and investments. They do this with utmost care and dedication.
Raj Jaggi assured the audience of giving the opportunities to buy, sell and invest in real estate through his successful company, VORO Real Estate. Mohinder Maglani offered fun trips with a very competitive price through his company, Sunrise Travels and Tours. He also offered special promotional offers for the Rotary Club Members. Club will also receive some intensives (donation) while members enjoy the world-class trips organized by his company.
Finally, Acupuncturist Dr. Ramos presented her ability to offer relaxation of body and mind after a long day, a week of work, or after returning from a trip. She also announced some special offers for the rotary members and business owners.
The Club's founding and charter president, Kamlesh Mehta, summed up the whole session with some powerful insight. “After knowing that your money is safe and your banking service is easy and convenient (through BCB Bank); your income protection and retirement plan is sound and solid (through Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions), investing and making some money in real estate investments (through VORO Real Estate), having a fun trip (through Sunrise Travels & Tours), finally you need to get some relaxation (through the acupuncture service from Dr. Ramos), you will feel that life is all good.”
Among a few other speakers were Rizwan Qureshi, Nilima Madan, Dr. D. Nori, and Dr. Anand Azad. Business owners and professionals from various fields and services joined the event. Reshma Jung was applauded for the arrangement and decoration of delicious appetizers and drinks for the attendees. Everyone agreed that it was a great networking session with positive spirit and goodwill. The BCB Bank and its devoted members were highly praised for their generous hospitality and accommodation.
