The crown chakra is the seat of highest human perfection, often represented as hovering above the head. This highest chakra unites in itself aĺl the energies of the lower centers.
It is the source and starting point for the manifestation of all other chakra energies. Here, one is connected with the level of being where all non-manifest forms and characteristics reside or dwell.
One experiences here the most varied expression of creation. When seventh or crown chakra begins to open one experiences moments when the divisions between inner being and outer life recedes into background.
One's consciousness is completely calm and open and you experience your real self as being part of the omnipresent pure being which contains all matter.
But this happens slowly and gradually. There are many yogic interventions or poses plus techniques more specially from Kriya Yoga to open crown chakra and one of them is Urdhva Hastasana or Upward Salute pose.
Please note: Attempt to open this chakra should only be attempted after one has mastered yoga poses for other lower chakras.
