'Love In Vietnam', a collaboration between the Indian and Vietnam film industry was announced at the Cannes 2024 by actor Shantanu Maheshwari. Based on the bestseller 'Madonna in a Fur Coat', the film stars actors Maheshwari, of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' fame, Avneet Kaur, and popular Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan.
Shantanu Maheshwari shared the posters on his Instagram handle and wrote, "Thrilled to unveil the first look of our film #LoveInVietnam at Cannes! I’m excited to finally be able to share this, our groundbreaking India-Vietnam collaboration (sic)."
It is directed and produced by Rajjat Shah Kazmi, produced by Omung Kumar, and supported by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai, and Vietnam Airlines.
While Maheshwari was last seen in the Netflix vampire drama 'Tooth Pari: When Love Bites', Avneet's last project was 'Tiku Weds Sheru', co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
