The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA has announced that 2024-25 will be celebrated as the Nepal Visit Year. To promote Nepal's tourism NRNA USA has decided to observe 2024-25 as the Nepal Visit Year.
"We have been regularly organizing programs to promote Nepal's tourism in collaboration with the Nepalese government, tourism board, various local bodies, and the Nepalese Embassy in the USA. However, this time, we are marking 2024-25 as the Nepal Visit Year," said NRNA USA Vice President and Head of Tourism and Trade Department, Netra Pandey.
According to Vice President Pandey, promotional programs will be organized with widespread participation and support from the Nepalese community on the occasion of the Nepal Visit Year 2024-25. Necessary promotional material has been received from the Nepalese government, tourism board, and Nepalese Embassy to make the Nepal Visit Year successful.
Programs related to the Nepal Visit Year will be included in the Nepal Festival (Nepal Day Parade) and other events organized by the Nepalese community in various states of the USA. Through these promotional programs, the NRNA USA aims to attract the American community and Nepalese Americans born and raised in the USA to visit Nepal.
The Tourism and Trade Department of NRNA USA, in collaboration with the Nepal America Journalists Association (NEJA), held an interaction with Nepalese journalists in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas on Monday to inform them about the Nepal Visit Year programs.
At the event, information was provided about the various programs conducted so far by the Tourism and Trade Department of NRNA USA and future plans. Vice President and Department Head Netra Pandey, Coordinator Sabindra Thapa, Texas Chapter President Dipendra Guragai, NEJA President Suraj Bhandari, and social worker Prabhat Dixit spoke about the role the Nepalese community should play in making the Nepal Visit Year a success.
