Houston based film producer Sanatan Kadakia is making waves in Independent cinema and theatrical entertainment globally.
Born and raised in India, Sanatan Kadakia received an electrical engineering degree and has a master's degree in IT from Charles Stuart University, U.K. His love for cinema and production began while working as a projectionist during his college years. Passionate about filmmaking, he began working as a Production Assistant in 2015 as a side gig and launched his own production company, Hidden Ridge Productions in 2018.
In 2020, he began seeking business opportunities as an investor and has established himself as a key addition to the independent movie landscape.
Kadakia has invested in seven feature films, a Netflix documentary, and his latest investment is a Broadway ‘The Last Five Years’ starring Tony winner Adrienne Warren and Grammy winner Nick Jonas. The Broadway show had its opening night on April 6, 2025, at the Hudson Theatre (NYC).
His portfolio includes investment in a Netflix documentary ‘Murder among the Mormons’ (2021). It is an American true crime documentary television mini-series on the 1985 Utah Bombings.
