US President Barack Obama has said leaked classified documents on the war in Afghanistan did not contain any issue that was not already part of debate, as he sought Congressional support for his Af-Pak policy that has come under increased scrutiny after the incident. Speaking for the first time
after Wikileaks released more than 92,000 classified documents on the war against terrorism in the region, Obama said he is concerned about the disclosure of sensitive information from the battlefield that could potentially jeopardise individuals or operations.

Gujarat's former home minister Amit Shah wants the special CBI court to grant him bail for the role he played in turning the state into the "best police state in the country". The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has found alleged irregularities in several Commonwealth Games related works being carried out by civic and construction agencies in the national capital. The anti-graft watchdog, through its Chief Technical Examiner's Wing, made an assessment of such works

The first day of operations of the new Terminal 3 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport saw an embarrassing glitch in the Air Traffic Control's (ATC) radar system, which went on the blink for 24 minutes. The radar screens went blank between 5.50 pm and 6.14 pm after the software system that displays flight data crashed. ATC officials switched to the backup system but flights were hit.
