Ajay Bhutoria is a Hillblazer

Ajay Jain Bhutoria is a leader on the Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) National Leadership Council for Hillary for America, a Hillblazer in the exclusive ‘270 Circle’, and a member of the Democratic National Finance Committee. The 44-yar-old has quietly established himself as a major fundraiser and campaigner for the former Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for President. Ajay is one of a handful of Indian American “Hillblazers,” or individuals who have raised more than $100,000 for the Clinton campaign in this election cycle.

Based in Fremont, CA, Ajay hosted President Bill Clinton at his home in May for a fundraiser  and co-hosted several fundraisers for Hillary in Bay Area, attended by notables including Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

AAPI for Hillary Leadership Council is a group of over 150 elected officials, community, and grassroots leaders who are helping build a grassroots-driven volunteer team helping Hillary Clinton engage, energize and organize support in the AAPI community. Ajay’s involvement in this Leadership Council is another example of top Indian Americans  moving into mainstream US politics and their contributions to American social and political life in general.  

He joins other members which include Congressman, Senators and elected officials and leaders from communities such as Japanese, Chinese, Pakistani, Filipino, and Vietnamese.

Ajay is a recognized author, speaker, educator, entrepreneur, and community leader. Ajay has established and founded several companies and organizations, including the Young Leaders Academy, which focuses on providing leadership and communication education to kids and youth in the SF Bay Area. He is also co-founder of the South Asian radio station network -  Radio Zindagi.

Ajay’s Global Business Consulting Services (GBCS) provides strategic guidance and technology consultancy services to many public sector and Fortune 500 corporations. Earlier, he served in leadership roles in companies such as Walt Disney, Cadence Design, IBM, and Price Waterhouse Consulting, managing global multi-million dollar projects. He is also Director of PR & Community Outreach for Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU), located in Fremont, CA with over 6,000 students.

He has served and led various  community organizations including Rajasthan Association of North America, GOPIO Silicon Valley and Global Organization for Community Services. Furthermore, he has worked with Art of Living Foundation and San Francisco Sheriff to bring meditation training to prisoners. 

Ajay has been honored with numerous awards by major organizations such as the California State Assembly, the California State Senate, and the US Congress. In 2016 he was awarded and recognized by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his contributions to the advancement of the Indian community in the USA.
