Medicine man whose heart beats for India

Dr. Rajendra Bhayani is the first ENT surgeon from India who completed training in Neurosurgery and also has a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Micro Vascular Surgery. He holds various leadership positions in the healthcare field and leading hospitals in New York, heading the ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery divisions.

A recipient of US Congressional Achievement Award for community service as renowned surgeon and philanthropist, he has published and presented more than 50 research papers, which got his  name included in the Marquis Who’s Who in America in Medicine and Healthcare.

Dr. Bhayani is also a philanthropist, social activist and entrepreneur. He has been actively involved in many events notably, Prime Minister Modi’s historic address at Madison Square Garden in 2014. He is also a Guest Speaker on TV shows in USA as a  proponent of Modi’s vision.

A successful medical career in the USA has not deterred Dr. Bhayani from committing time for the progress of India. He serves on the boards of over 20 philanthropic organizations back home. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of Save Life Foundation, which has helped curtail road accident fatalities.  He has also organized health/blood donation camps and fund-raisers for Akshay Patra that runs mid-day meal program for kids in India.

Dr Bhayani is an eminent AAPI leader, having served as President of its New York region as well as a Trustee and Treasurer of AAPI-QLI.

Dr. Bhayani has received over 50 awards including Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Samman at House of Lords in London, Bharat Gaurav Puraskar and Hind Rattan Award, as well as  Atal Mithila Samman in New Delhi last year
